The School of Foreign Languages was established in July 2022.It mainly undertakes the teaching tasks of all professional foreign language courses and international exchanges and cooperation.
There are 33 faculty members in our school, including 7 associate professors and 24 with master's degree or above. It is a high-level teaching team with noble morality, first-class teaching level, strong scientific research ability and with reasonable professional title structure, age structure and educational background structure. Our school undertakes the organization of National English Contest for college students and National Vocational Students Skills Competition (Oral English competition), and carries out various second-class activities for students.
Our college has signed friendly cooperation agreements with more than 20 foreign universities, and carried out short-term study visits, cooperative training, teacher training, exchange study tours and other cooperative exchange projects.In 2019, it signed a cooperation agreement with the Herzing University in the United States, and now it has enrolled 155 students in four sessions. In May 2022, the College signed an international cooperation framework agreement for vocational education with the Vocational Education Center of Northeast Thailand, Thailand's Ulong Thani Vocational College, and Beijing Tangfeng Chinese Education Technology Co., LTD. In March 2023, 18 Thai students have been admitted to the school and graduated in January 2024, and 15 Thai students have been admitted to the school in March 2024. At present, Xingzhi College - Thailand branch has been established in Ulong Thani Vocational College.
In 2019 and 2020, the Vocational Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of Thailand awarded the College "Outstanding Contribution Award for International Cooperation in Vocational Education between China and Thailand". In 2019 and 2020, the College has been selected twiceas one of the "Top 50 Influential Vocational Colleges in Asia-Pacific" , and in 2021, it washonored as "Advanced Unit in Education and Foreign Affairs in Anhui Province".In 2023,the Vocational Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of Thailand awarded the College "Outstanding Contribution Award for International Cooperation in Vocational Education between China and Thailand(2021-2023)". In 2023, the college was selected as a star college in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Vocational College Influence Index Assessment and named into the list of 2023 Asia-Pacific Vocational College Characteristic Cooperation Demonstration Projects.
